Ciekawostka o pizzy opracowana 
w j. angielskim przez uczennicę klasy 4a:

PIZZA

 A Slice of History

 Prehistoric pizza         

Stone Age people use wild grains.

They make them into dough .

Then they put it onto rocks in their campfires.

This makes a flat bread –the first pizza crust.

Later, the first bakers use the flat bread as a plate.

They put food, herbs ,and spices  on the bread.

Then they eat it.

American pizza

In Italy people make mozzarella

cheese with milk from buffalo.

There are no water buffalos in this

country.

So pizza makers use cow’s milk.

We are in 1905.The first American pizzeria is

Lombardi’s in New York City .

But pizza is not popular at the begining.

Things change in the 1940s.This is when the

United States fights in World War II.

Many U.S soldiers fight in Italy.
